Principal's Newsletter

     June 2008

       We have come to the end of another school year.  We feel that it was a very good year.  We have seen the children grow in Faith, in knowledge and in love.  We have been heartened by their efforts to learn and their kindly treatment of each other.

        We thank you for entrusting your children to us.  We all wish you a blessed, safe summer.

THANK YOU

So many of you have given service hours to the school and we very much appreciate all you have done in such a variety of ways.  Your help at the school, on the many fund-raising activities, in helping each other when special needs arise has been outstanding.  You have enabled us to provide classroom materials and programs which have benefited the children.

The children thank you.  The teachers and staff thank you.  I thank you.  God bless.

Changes

Mrs. Barbara Schroeder is retiring this year after 25 years of devoted service to the children of Incarnation Catholic School.  We are grateful to her for sharing her many gifts with us.  We wish her God's very best in the years to come.

Danielle Reed will be the new teacher of Second Grade.  Ms. Reed comes to us with three years experience teaching in a Catholic School in New Jersey.  We look forward to having Ms. Reed as part of our ICS family.

Sally Dickinson will be the new teacher of Fifth Grade.  Mrs. Dickinson has five years experience teaching at ODA, as well as one year here.  We look forward to having Mrs. Dickinson in her new role.

Ann Marie Kelly will be moving to Grade 1 as Teacher Assistant to Sr. Beverly.  Mrs. Kelly is expecting her second child in October.  This change of class will afford her the opportunity to have more time at home since she will be freed from the planning and preparation required of the primary teacher.  Mrs. Kelly is a model of kindness and patience and will be a great asset to Gr. 1.
