Library and Media Center
relocated to the new building of the school in 1993. It houses a collection of over 11.000 titles, 15 periodicals
and over 100 films.
Our card catalog is
totally computerized and is available to the students on three computer
workstations.
Grades K-6 visit the media center for a full class period weekly.
Grades 6-8 utilize the media center for both research and study
hall. Internet access is available through our school network
system.
Our
Media Center also produces a live daily news show each morning on closed circuit
television.

The Accelerated Reader, by
Renaissance Learning, has long been at the heart of Incarnation School
program. The students are encouraged to choose their own books and
read them at their own pace then take a quiz on the computer. There
are over 50, 000 Reading Practice Quizzes to help motivate increased
reading practice. Both the student and teacher get immediate,
individualized constructive goals and direct ongoing reading
practice.

Imagine
a world where students are so excited about reading that they want to spend
every available minute with books. This dream has become a reality at
Incarnation with the help of the Accelerated Reader program. We now
have tests for over 2700 book titles and the list just keeps
growing!
For
your convenience the alphabetized list of the books and test titles
available are listed below. This list will be up-to-date at all times
and it will not be necessary to look through printed copies of the test
list.
