Quarters 1, 2,& 3: The Bible and Old Testament Studies. Sadlier.   A complete review of the Hebrew Scriptures from Genesis to Micah the Prophet.  Grades based on biweekly quizzes and tests.

Quarter 4: Family Life, Benziger.  No grade.

Grade 7

Quarters 1 & 2 :  Scriptures Study: New Testament.  Sadlier.  A review of Christian Scriptures, focusing on the Gospels. Grades based on biweekly tests.

Quarter 3: Confirmation:  Christ our Life.  Loyola Press.  Preparation for Confirmation Ceremony in the spring (March/April).  Grades based on daily quizzes. 

Quarter 4: Family Life, Benziger.  No grade.

Confirmation Information:

    1.  First Meeting: Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, 7pm, Grade 8

    2.  Enrollment Ceremony: Saturday, January 31, 2009, 7:30pm Mass, Church

    3. Confirmation Retreat: A School Day in March(?), 8am-12:30pm 

                      >Please pick up children after lunch at school on time! 

    4. Rehearsal for Ceremony: Sunday before Ceremony, 6pm (Report to parish center)

    5. Ceremony: Monday,  6:30pm.  (Report to parish center@ 6pm)

         (Exact dates are given in the new year from the diocesan office).

Grade 8 

Quarters 1, 2, & 3:  Morality & Ethics.  Sadlier. A study of our traditions in morality and values based on the Ten Commandments. Grades are based on biweekly essays.

Quarter 4:  In God's Image: Male and Female.  Franciscan Publications.  A review of human sexuality in the Catholic tradition.  No grade.

Graduation Retreat: Mid May, 8am-12:30pm on a school day. Please pick up children @12:30 dismissal.
