Parents/Guardians are an essential part of the life of ICS, and we joyfully welcome your partnership in creating a vibrant, faith-filled community for our children. While we understand that parents lead very busy lives, our experience shows that when home and school work closely together, students flourish. Your involvement, whether large or small, makes a meaningful difference in your child’s education and in the life of our school.
We encourage every family to volunteer at least 25 hours per year in a way that suits their schedule, gifts, and comfort level. There are many ways to take an active role, including:
A weekly volunteer sign-up list will be provided to help families find opportunities that match their schedules. If families are unable to fulfill all 25 volunteer hours, a monetary donation to support school programs is appreciated and helps cover the needs typically met through volunteer service. Families are responsible for tracking their service hours through the FACTS Family Portal.
To volunteer on campus, parents must complete diocesan fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training. Instructions for both can be found on our website. Opportunities for parents who are not Safe Environment cleared are also available, such as helping from home, contributing materials for events or projects, assisting with communication support, or volunteering at designated off-campus activities. All volunteers must sign in and out through the school office when arriving on campus.
Your participation, whether through time, talent, or treasure, strengthens our community, models stewardship for your children, and directly supports the mission of ICS. We are deeply grateful for your partnership.
