Families in Service

(FIS)

ICS couldn't achieve its Mission without the dedicated service of many volunteers. Thank you! We welcome and encourage all parents to volunteer and there are many opportunities available.

The Families-in-Service (FIS) Program was established in a continuing effort to:

1. Offer families opportunities to interact with other children’s parents, school staff, and friends.
2. Provide additional services, activities, events and educational enrichment programs to our children and school staff.
3. Ensure all families have the opportunity to participate in school-related events and that there is a shared responsibility to contribute and partner with the school.
4. Support the financial needs of Incarnation Catholic School.

We understand that every family is different, and everyone has unique circumstances. There are many ways to get involved, and every bit helps. The important thing is that we all share a common goal: providing a nurturing, enriching, and excellent education for our children.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication. Together, we can create a vibrant, thriving school community where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

We ask each school year that two-parent household families fulfill a minimum of 25 volunteer hours and a single-parent household fulfills a minimum of 12 volunteer hours.

Safe Environment Certification

We ask that you take an active role in your child’s education and to volunteer at least 25 hours a year at Incarnation Catholic School. The main responsibility of a volunteer is to assist the administration and teachers. To volunteer at the school, parents must have completed fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training. A detailed and thorough catalog of all volunteer opportunities can be found at the bottom of the page but we encourage you sign up for at least three opportunities in the form above.. It is mandatory to sign in and out in the office when you come on school grounds. Families should track their own service hours on the FACTS Family Portal.

The Safe Environment Program is mandated and required by the Diocese of Venice. Safe Environment (SE) Training consists of two core components: Background Check/ Fingerprinting, and Training and Awareness.  See below for training registration,  background fingerprinting process, and other critical information. The Diocese engages Virtus for data management and video training programs for Protecting God’s Children through education and prevention training for adults.
