Parent/Guardian Volunteers
ICS couldn't achieve its Mission without the dedicated service of many volunteers. Thank you! We welcome and encourage all parents to volunteer in the following areas.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
ICS Gala
Held annually during the Spring semester, the ICS Gala is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents, families, faculty, and alumni to come out for an evening of fun, food, and music in support of our school. The event is organized and run by a wonderful team of volunteers that are always looking for new members. For more information and to volunteer, please email Gala Chair Jen Discher.

Family & School Association (FSA)
Our FSA is responsible for countless school activities and initiatives: hosting our annual Fall Festival, providing funds for class supplies and trips, running school fundraisers, serving as class parents, organizing Catholic Schools Week activities, and coordinating social events. We encourage all parents to join our FSA and be actively involved at ICS! For more information, please click here.

Field Trip & Class Activity Chaperones
Often times, our teachers rely on their classroom parents to provide transportation for students for field trips or to serve as chaperones on class trips or during other fun activities. All parents interested in being field trip drivers or class chaperones must complete the necessary Safe Environment paperwork as indicated below. Parents who are interested in these roles are encouraged to complete all necessary paperwork at the start of the school year as it can take several weeks to process.

Lunch/Recess Helpers
Our lunch/recess periods require a team of volunteers who are commited to serving on Monday's and Friday's. These individuals are responsible for serving lunch and watching the students during recess. This is a great way to help our school and get to know everyone! For more information, please sign-up using one of the links above or on our FSA page.

Safe Environment Certification
We ask that you take an active role in your child’s education and to volunteer at least 10 hours a year at Incarnation Catholic School. The main responsibility of a volunteer is to assist the administration and teachers. To volunteer at the school, parents must have completed fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training. A volunteer sign-up list will be shared by FSA periodically for various events, but we encourage you to start off with one of the above suggestions. It is mandatory for you to sign in and out in the office when you come to the school. Families should track their own service hours on the FACTS Family Portal.
The Safe Environment Program is mandated and required by the Diocese of Venice. Safe Environment (SE) Training consists of two core components: Background Check/ Fingerprinting, and Training and Awareness. See below for training registration, background fingerprinting process, and other critical information. The Diocese engages Virtus for data management and video training programs for Protecting God’s Children through education and prevention training for adults.
